Treetop WalkwayHit Treetop Walkway! You can enjoy the view of Lipno Lake, Šumava landscape and when there is good weather you can also see the peaks of the Austrian Alps. The walkway also includes educational features, adrenalin sections for children and the longest dry toboggan in the Czech Republic. The walkway operates in winter as well.
Great entertainment and adrenaline can be found in the woods near Černá v Pošumaví. You can choose from five different tracks. Some of them will just test your readiness, to conquer the others you will have to use your muscles and brain too. Open daily from 10 a. m. to 6 p. m.
Let´s try a 5-km long cycle path leading through the woods specially designed for safe mountain bike riding. Even the smallest children will master the slope with ease.
Bike and inline trail
Do you enjoy riding a bike or inline skates? Trail along Lipno with perfect surface leads from Lipno nad Vltavou to Frymburk. The trail is 19 km long and copies the left bank of Lipno and offers great views over Lipno dam with short ascents, descents and turns.

If you are longing to combine fun and adrenaline, you cannot miss the bobsleigh track in Lipno. It is 1 km long, it has 21 bends, 2 tunnels and terrain breaks. You will get down through a corridor in a special car where you can control the speed using the brake lever. The bobsleigh track is open all year round.
Castle Rožmberk is one of the oldest castles in the Czech Republic. The first records come from 1250. Originally it was a complex of two castles but nowadays there is only a stone watchtower called Jakobínka. There you can enjoy a romantic view of the surrounding landscape. The castle is open all year round.
Postal Museum in Vyšší Brod
An extensive exposition of the history of the post in Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia since the year 1526 till today can be found on the grounds of a famous gothic monastery. There is the biggest collection of postal carriages and vehicles of 19th century, historical postal uniforms and many more. It is open till October.
Trip to a glass factoryVisit glass factory Tasta which makes hand-made decoration glass. A family-owned glass factory in Milná near Frymburk melts from 50 to 100 kilos of glass every day and produces hand-formed and coloured glass. The entry is free of charge. Opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 6 a. m. to 2 p. m.
