RYBAR LIPNO

Our leisure area, located just a few minutes’ walk from the resort, is designed for everyone who loves sport, good food and relaxation. You will find a wakeboarding and water-skiing lift, water attractions for children, game rentals and a bistro serving fish specialities and refreshing drinks.

The area is open only during the summer months.

Try the new 5 km cycling trail through the forest, specially designed for safe mountain biking. Even younger children can manage the descent without difficulty.

If you are looking for fun and adrenaline, do not miss the bobsleigh track at Lipno. It is 1 km long and features 21 bends, 2 tunnels and terrain changes. You ride downhill in a special bobsleigh and control your own speed with a lever.

Rožmberk Castle

Rožmberk Castle is one of the oldest castles in the Czech Republic. The first written record dates back to 1250. It was originally a complex of two castles, of which only the stone watchtower known as Jakobínka has survived. From the viewpoint, you can enjoy views of the romantic surrounding countryside. The castle is open year-round.

Lipno Ice Skating Trail

The vast surface of the Lipno Reservoir provides excellent conditions for skating on the frozen lake directly by our resort during the winter months. Lipno usually freezes from December to March. When safety conditions are met and the ice is at least 18 cm thick, skaters and cross-country skiers can use regularly maintained trails and circuits in Horní Planá, Frymburk and Lipno nad Vltavou, which are interconnected when conditions allow.
